SHANGHAI MAGNOLIA PLAZA
In the summer of 2013, I started an working at HMA Architects & Designers, a Japanese firm in South West Shanghai. I was immediately placed in a team, since they worked on projects in this way. We covered various projects but the most intriguing for me at the time was this, Tianlin Mall in an upcoming neighbourhood of Shanghai. To start I was tasked with the making the 3D model of the mall, in SketchUp. We also visited the site and inspected, since HMA had taken over the project from another design firm. Back then it was called 'TIANLIN MALL' and has now been renamed to SHANGHAI MAGNOLIA PLAZA.

Learnt a lot at HMA. Certainly being thrusted into heavy work from the get go helped me learn how to adapt to pressure.
In this project I dove head first into using SketchUp after only a few months of having learnt it. Being the first major project I worked on I learnt how important it is to have skills in problem solving. Since then I have enjoyed complex designs.
